Watkins Glen State Park |
30 minutes from Grace Gardens- in Watkins Glen along Rt 14. |
Path and steps follow gorge cut through rock- many waterfalls.
Very interesting scenic side trip. If you walk back to parking lot along top of gorge,
take the south rim route. The north rim route has a zillion cement steps.
Watkins Glen village also has a public park on the south shore of Seneca lake-
shaded picnic facilities and swimming available. Many interesting small shops and antique
stores line Main St. A Seneca lake boat cruise is available at the foot of the lake.
